Schedule - SMS

Schedule is where you Activate and send your SMS Journey. Here you can choose the Planned Journey Start Date and Time.

We recommend you set the Planned Journey End to be a week after the Journey starts. This does not mean that the Journey "ends" in any way after this date. The SMS sent are still on recipients’ phones as normal and Which50 will still capture all statistics associated with your Journey.

Planned Journey End is simply an internal setting within Which50, meaning the Journey will then move further down in the overall Journey List in your Dashboard to create space for new Journeys. The Journey will remain fully accessible at any time in the future within Which50.

Remember to click Save in the top right when you have selected the Planned Journey Start and End Dates and Times required. Within the Schedule screen you can also select a variety of Activity Triggers to incorporate into your Journey. To learn more about working with Activity Triggers, click here.

To Activate your Journey, click on the red Activate Journey button to the right of the screen.

Always ensure you are satisfied with every aspect of your Journey before Activation. It is recommended that you test your Journey before activation. You can find out more about testing SMS Journeys here.

When you click Activate Journey, you will receive one final notification asking if you are sure you wish to Activate the Journey. If you say yes, your Journey will be Activated.

 Activators

You may not have permission to Activate Journeys in your organisation. Often, Teams have one or two designated Activators, and other members of the Team will request Activation once the Journey is fully prepared.

If your Team has a designated Activator, we suggest emailing the Activator the URL of your Journey’s Schedule page in W50, once you are sure the Journey is ready to issue. All the Activator needs do is click on the link and press the Red Activate Journey button.
